Nef Bromber

Nef has over 30 years’ experience in the mortgage industry with broad and deep expertise. She began her career as a retail loan officer and has also worked as an underwriter, wholesale account executive, and national wholesale sales director. Nef has additional experience in secondary market activities, product development, negotiating agency master contracts, and handling private investor relations. She’s an expert when it comes to pricing, working out complex loan scenarios, and understanding mortgage banking from all aspects of the business.

Joe Embree

My mortgage career began in 1992, right out of college. My first job was with TransAmerica Financial. I have been in the mortgage business for about 30 years. Most of this time has been in Wholesale lending, I love putting together and originating mortgages. Other roles have included Customer Service Rep, Doc Drawer, Lock Desk Coordinator, Account Executive, and Regional Production Manager. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, I graduated from San Diego State University in 1991 with a BA in Economics, and a Minor in Business Management. I’ve been married since 1996 with 2 daughters, 18 and 21. I enjoy family time, college sports, outdoor activities, and thoughtful conversation on a wide variety of topics.

Festus Burchfield

Account Executive

Festus Burchfield began his career in real estate working as a loan officer at a local
bank in Naples, Florida in 2001. During his mortgage career he facilitated financing
diverse residential projects gaining valuable expertise in the real estate industry.
Festus moved to Colorado in 2003 to expand his career and has been a Realtor since
2012. His background in finance along with his superior knowledge of the local real
estate market gives him a competitive edge. Festus offers unsurpassed marketing,
communication and negotiating skills; in-depth up to the minute and comprehensive
market knowledge; honesty, integrity and a keen eye for details. His longstanding

I have 20+ years of experience as a wholesale and correspondent Account Executive. I began my career in the mortgage industry in 1998 as an underwriting assistant then moved over to the Account Executive position in 1999.  Originally, I worked for New America/Aegis for 9 years, moved to SunTrust for 4 years then over to Caliber Home Loans for 11 years.  I recently landed at Unified Reliance Wholesale and I am very honored to be part of this team.  Prior to entering the mortgage industry, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree at San Diego State University. I live in the San Diego area with my husband and 2 children.  My interests include yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Mark Moreno

Account Executive

Originally trained as an Underwriter, Mark Moreno has been structuring Mortgage Loans for almost 30 years. Mark’s well-rounded career has included Operations, Compliance, and Production. As a broker for 12 years, Mark has had firsthand experience in the start to finish life of a mortgage loan. The transition into Wholesale right after the 2008 Mortgage Crash was a smooth process and Mark took well to the challenge of structuring loans, comparing Loan Guidelines, and ensuring his referral network grow their production. He works with a philosophy of Surprise and Delight to not only the customer, but also the referral source. When not at work, Mark enjoys Fishing, Cooking, and long motorcycle rides.
